Game developer DryGin Studios, the makers of the very popular Android and iOS app iFunFace, announced that it's currently working on a new medical strategy simulator called Bio Inc.
Bio Inc is a real time strategy game, and might best be compared to something like Plague Inc. Yes, this game is similar to Plague Inc, but it has plenty of new features to keep things fun an exciting. If you enjoy a mix of high strategy and terrifyingly realistic simulation, and especially if you were a fan of Plague Inc, you should check this game out.
In Bio Inc, you have to determine the ultimate fate of a victim by developing the most lethal illness possible. The goal is to string together Diseases, Risk Factors and Recovery items to make the most lethal cocktail of illness to bring about the demise of your patient. You build up Bio Points and then bring in factors like Hypertension, Malnutrition, make your patient a Workaholic or an Alcoholic. You can then go for Kidney Failure, Lung Cancer and send both your doctors and nurses on strike. You can convince doctors to hand out placebos instead of real medicine. It's an extensive skill tree and will take a few plays before you get the hang of things.
A lot of different strategies making it very interesting. The gameplay is fun and different with offers a new take on the infection style of game and contains a piece of gamified e-learning. You learn a lot about the human body and diseases while you try to kill people. Well worth getting into and may even get you thinking about your own health. You will focus on a particular individual versus always trying to get the world. It brings a level of personalization that even Plague Inc doesn't have.
The game has been doing well as a premium ($1.99) on iPhone, iPad and iPod, but now is available for free on Android with support in-app purchases to reach as many gamers as possible.
